Music & Wine with Jaime Anglada

15/07/2022

Good music and the anecdotes of Jaime Anglada triumphed again yesterday at the Tianna Negre concert. His songs speak of disappointments, ports near the sea, crucial moments in life, scars and joys. The public enjoyed them and sang several songs in chorus.

It was Jaime Anglada's second concert at Celler Tianna Negre. The good music, the wine tasting and the wonderful sunset created a very wonderful atmosphere and I want to repeat next year.

All the proceeds were in solidarity in favor of research against breast cancer at the Son Espases University Hospital. Thanks for coming!

Yoga & Vineyard: Summer Solstice

21/06/2022

On Tuesday, June 21st we welcomed the Summer with the “108 greetings to the sun” and sacred geometry. It was a session full of symbolism, spirituality and energy on one of the most energetic days of the year.

The ritual of the 108 salutations to the sun is to take us to a meditative state that makes us be present and helps us to investigate our personality and our spirituality, and to open and close cycles, to prepare our body and mind for the upcoming changes. In the Hindu tradition the number 108 is considered a sacred number with high spiritual power.

Danielle Awuy was the teacher of this very special session. The contribution was for charity to Son Espases University Hospital, for research on the breast cancer.

Music & Wine: special Ukraine

04/06/2022

On Saturday June 4th we performed a piano concert with the works of the main Ukrainian composer, Valentin Silvéstrov, who was able to attend the event very touched. Boris Berman is a renowned Russian pianist, resident in the USA and professor at Yale University.

We have taken a tour of Silvéstrov's 60 years of musical creation: introspective, lyrical and delicate music. Even the last composition that he has written during the last two months of the Russian invasion and that reminds us that every morning you have to say good morning.

It was a solidarity concert. The proceeds have been €2,175 and will go entirely to the NGO @WorldCentralKitchen of chef José Andrés to help the victims of Ukraine.

With the collaboration of IEB and Consell de Mallorca. Thank you all for attending!

Art in Tianna

28/05/2019

Luis Maraver, a resident artist in Binissalem, exhibited a selection of works painted in oil, with the field and the vineyards as the main theme.

Patrick Paulen presented our new wine TN5.-4, better known as Sa Madona. The last creation of the winery is a 100% Manto Negro signature wine from our oldest vineyard.

Terra di Vino Restaurant in Binissalem offered four salty tapas and one sweet, culinary art inspired by the vineyards. Each tapa had a special pairing and could taste four different wines, one of them the TN5.-4.

There were raffles and very good atmosphere. The collection was € 2,150 and was entirely devoted to breast cancer research in Son Espases.

Experimental wine tasting

21/03/2019

We discovered first hand the unknown varieties of Mallorcan grapes. They are part of our history and with much effort we are recovering them. We call them experimental varieties, because they still cannot be commercialized. We shared the best kept secrets with our sommelier Patrick Paulen and also a visit to Tianna Negre winery.

The collection was € 440 and was allocated entirely to the Research Group on advanced therapies and biomarkers in clinical oncology of IdISBa, formed by researchers and oncologists at the Son Espases University Hospital, for breast cancer research.
