El Celler Tianna Negre It is located surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the municipality of Binissalem, which is practically the centre of the Raiguer region, between the municipalities of Consell, Alaró, Lloseta, Inca and Sencelles. Binissalem is 139 metres above sea level and is located 22 km from the island's capital, Palma.

Binissalem has one of the most remarkable stone architectural complexes in Mallorca. Also well-known are its writers Llorenç Villalonga (19th century) and Llorenç Moyà (20th century) who reflect the life and people of Binissalem in their works.

4. Prensal blanc with 1 ha and a total of 11 vines. The planting frame is 5781'0 x 80'2 and planting year 40. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Simple Cordon.

5. Experimental with 0 ha and a total of 04 vines. The planting frame is 228 x 0 and planting year 80. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Simple Cordon.

On this same estate, we can find a cultivar of Arbequina olive trees, grown organically, just like all our vineyards. The total surface area of ​​the cultivar is 3 ha with a total of 91 olive trees. The planting area is 700 x 7 and the year of planting is 5.

From these olive trees, the fruit (olives) is harvested and later used to make our own Extra Virgin olive oil.

Apart from the vineyard and the olive tree plantation, there is also our emblematic winery, where the entire process of transforming grapes into wine takes place.

2. Giró ros with 0 ha and a total of 51 vines. It is a native variety of the island. The planting frame is 2125'1 x 00'2 and the year of planting is 40. As for the type of training pruning, we find Guyot.

3. Prensal blanc with 0 ha and a total of 44 vines. The planting pattern is 1833 x 1, and the year of planting was 2. The training pruning method is Simple Cordon.

4. Prensal blanc With an area of ​​0 ha and a total of 84 vines, the planting pattern is 3514 x 1, and the year of planting was 2. Regarding training pruning, we find the Simple Cordon. This sector stands out for its dryland system, which means it has no drip irrigation and is not irrigated.

7. Manto negro with 0 ha and a total of 64 vines. It is a native variety of the island. Today it is the oldest vineyard on the property, where our jewel is located, a plot with which we make the wine “Sa Madona”. The planting frame is 1987'1 x 40'2 and the year of planting is 40. As for the type of formative pruning we find the Vaso. This plantation is dry land, it does not have drippers for irrigation.

Soil Type

As for the type of terrain or soil, we can find different textures. It must be taken into account that not all plots are the same or have the same characteristics. Even within the same plot, with a variation of a few meters of distance, these characteristics can vary. For this reason we can find various types of textures within the same plot.

In the case of the Finca de Consell, we can find areas or sectors with loamy, clayey and other clay-silty textures.

Son Boi It is a vineyard planted between 2013 and 2019, a farm of about 22 hectares that has been organically farmed since it was planted. The older people of the village say that this farm already had vineyards for hundreds of years before phylloxera devastated all the vineyards on the island.

This farm has a total of 17 sectors in which the following varieties are planted:

1. Manto negro with 8 ha and a total of 33 vines. The planting frame is 28920'1 x 20'2 and the planting year is between 40 and 2013. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Double Cordon.

2. Giró ros with 1 ha and a total of 32 vines. The planting frame is 4555'1 x 20'2 and planting year 40. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Double Cordon.

3. Gorgollassa with 1 ha and a total of 06 vines. The planting frame is 3680'1 x 20'2 and the planting year is between 40 and 2015. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Double Cordon.

4. Prensal blanc With an area of ​​2 hectares and a total of 18 vines, the vineyard is planted with a 7569 x 1 square metre spacing, and was planted between 20 and 2. The training pruning method is the Double Cordon.

5. Chardonnay with 2 ha and a total of 74 vines. The planting frame is 9514'1 x 20'2 and the planting year is between 40 and 2014. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Double Cordon.

As a curiosity, in Son Boi Compost is produced to fertilize the vineyard and fields of aromatic plants, helping to generate a more lively ecosystem.

As a curiosity, this farm is located right in front of the Binissalem Aerodrome, so farm workers can often see light aircraft taking off and landing and even see some pilots doing acrobatics.

The farm has a total planted area of ​​15 ha under organic farming.

This farm is divided into 2 plots (Can Parrona 10'09 ha and Es Velar 5'44 ha) and in each of them we can find several sectors. In total there are 14 sectors in which the varieties are planted:

1. Chardonnay with 1 ha and a total of 26 vines. The planting frame is 4375'1 x 20'2 and planting year 40. As for the type of training pruning, we find the Simple Cordon.

Biniagual Farm
Total planted area 2 ha.

1. Merlot with 2 ha and a total of 05 vines. The planting frame is 7120'1 x 20'2 and planting year 40. As for the type of training pruning we find the Double Cordon.

On this farm, various samples were taken, just like on the rest of the farms on the property, in order to be able to subsequently carry out a soil analysis. And in this way, we could observe the characteristics of the soil on our farm, as well as check whether the same thing was happening on this farm as on the rest, and it turned out not to be the case. Unlike the rest of the farms, where we could find different soil textures on the same plot, this does not happen on the Finca de Biniagual. The entire farm has the same soil texture, clayey.
